How the Estimate Works

Calories = (MET × 3.5 × Wt_kg × Duration_min) ÷ 200
Time-based mode applies the climb MET for the entered duration. Flight-based mode converts flights to approximate duration using ~10 seconds per flight at moderate pace, then applies the MET formula.
